Matt Lang

Matt Lang is a Lecturer in the Initiative for Financial Decision-Making at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Before joining Stanford GSB, he spent more than 15 years teaching economics to undergraduate and MBA students at UC Santa Barbara, UC Riverside, and Xavier University. He co-created the gamified learning platform Virtual Econ, authored an interactive Introduction to Macroeconomics textbook, developed AI-based discussion activities for the classroom, and created UC Riverside's Economics of Financial Investments course. He holds a PhD in Economics from UC Santa Barbara and a master's from the London School of Economics.
