Cornelius (Neil) Pereira
Neil Pereira is the Director of Library Finance and Technical Operations at the Business Library. He comes to us from the Joseph F. Rice School of Law Library at the University of South Carolina, where he served as Head of Technical Services. He previously served in a similar position at the Southern Illinois University School of Law Library. With over 20 years working in academic libraries, Neil brings extensive experience in supervising library Technical Services, expertise in cataloging and metadata, and proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.
Neil has a BA in English Literature from St. Xavier’s College, Bombay, an MA in English Literature from the University of Mumbai, a Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting from Illinois State University, and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
